SpaceX will attempt to reach weekly Starship launches by early 2027, according to new performance targets given by Elon Musk and Gwynne Shotwell on an earnings call. Officials spent much of the call on plans to roll out up to 10 GW of compute in 2027, on the ground.

Starlink and the planned "Starmind" data centre constellation still depend on Starship for the company's long-term ambitions to provide data services from space.

More than three weeks have passed since Starship's 14th test flight, which largely went well despite some issues with the Raptor engine. Musk said SpaceX has enough data to attempt a catch of both the Super Heavy first stage and the Starship upper stage on the next flight. He called success "more likely than not" but said the company is hardware rich if there are failures.

SpaceX is targeting November for Flight 15, with both catches at Starbase in South Texas. Shotwell said the company expects the FAA licence to include return to launch site and tower catch for both stages.
